Social Detoxification Program
Sadly, due to a lack of available funding for our Social Detoxification Program, after almost 10 years of operation, we will be forced to close its doors on June 30, 2010.
This closure is a great loss for Responsibility House and the New Orleans community. Once it closes, the people of the Greater New Orleans Area will not have an option for social detoxification. Unfortunately, this situation will force all persons seeking detox treatment to crowd area emergency rooms and medical detoxification facilities, which are significantly overburdened and cost much more to operate.
With heavy hearts, our Social Detoxification Program bids farewell to the hundreds and hundreds of individuals who have been set on the road to recovery by our detox program.
